Main Characters
IF1507 – curator of the engineering quarter, the last city on the planet miraculously preserved by the Great Mind. A diligent and faithful executor of the deity’s will. His path is one of inner awakening, a conflict between duty and individuality.
Alice – daughter of the ruling family, living in a colony isolated from the outside world. Her quest for truth marks a painful transformation from a naive child to someone whose steps will determine the fate of civilization.
Alex Haile – a popular 21st-century blogger who experienced an astonishing healing live on air thanks to Bionanol. The media face of humanity’s transformation. His broadcasts reflect the desires and fears of society.
From the Author
This story began back in 2015–2018. At that time, only a few chapters of the main plot existed: curator IF1507, the Great Mind, slogans, everyday life, and the work rhythm of the enclosed city. Several drafts explored different events. The divine being resembled a flying necropolis, and the text leaned toward dystopian horror.
Over time, however, it became clear that something was missing. Another narrative line was needed for deeper plot development. That’s how Alice appeared—and unexpectedly absorbed most of the drama, freeing the engineering world from it. The events began to contrast. New ideas emerged. Within a year, the book grew into two full parts—but had… a rather banal ending.
In 2020, during the pandemic, the idea arose to add yet another axis—the past. This line created parallels, added structure, and provided explanations for the world of 2437. Some chapters had to be rewritten, and the third part was created almost from scratch. But slowly, the puzzle began to fit. The characters united within the story’s world exactly as intended.
By the end of 2021, the book was fully completed and sent to a few beta readers. But the beginning of 2022 overturned all plans. The war put the project on a long pause.
Three years passed. Only now was it possible to proofread, make corrections, take advice into account, and finally release this story.
